Hello Monday Morning Friends. I pray this past week that you have seen revelation that Nothing is too hard for Lord and that hope has risen in your heart.
Everyone has questions and is searching for answers to life’s situations. It all depends on where we look to find the right answers. We can look to the world, the news, our friends, co-workers, and even family. However, if these are not rooted and grounded in the Word of God and His Wisdom, we will never have the satisfaction of having the “right answers” to what we need.
So, today, if you need answers to questions, whether they are simple or complex, we will see where and how to find them.
Let’s see what God has to say about answers to your questions:
- Psalm 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.
In this verse, David is expressing his heart to God, “hear me when I call” and he reminds himself that God is his righteousness, not himself. I love when he says, “You have relieved me in my distress”. This is David’s declaration of faith and of remembering what He has done for him in the past.
- Psalm 145:19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
Sometimes our prayer is a simple “God help me” and He will hear you and “save” you. Listen to what this simple word “save means”.
To be liberated, saved, delivered. To be victorious, to give victory to. To preserve, rescue, be safe. Go ahead, pray that prayer right now, He is waiting to hear from you.
- Psalm 116:2 Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.This is one of my favorites because our God, our Father is letting us know He is waiting to hear from us. Is that just amazing or what? We can be like David and say since God is waiting to hear from me, “Father, let’s talk”!
- Matthew 7: 7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
This is Jesus Himself giving us a promise of promises. If you ask, seek and knock, then you will receive, find, and have the answer opened up to you. Just say “yes, Lord, I ‘ll receive that”.
- 1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Imagine with me, God Almighty is telling us, you can have full confidence in Him to answer your request when it lines up with His will. Wow, that’s powerful. Meditate on this verse and you will see your confidence level go through the roof this week.
You might be asking; how do I know what’s according to God’s will? I’m so glad you asked that because He has an answer for you:
Colossians 3:16 (Phillips) Let Christ’s teaching live in your hearts, making you rich in the true wisdom. Teach and help one another along the right road with your psalms and hymns and Christian songs, singing God’s praises with joyful hearts. And whatever you may have to do, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him.
By allowing Christ’s teaching in your heart, not only will it make you rich in wisdom, but you will be able to teach others, lead your family wisely, be an answer in a dark world, all because you trust that when you take the Word of God and plant it in your heart, you can always pray according to His will and have the answer that is needed, every time for every situation.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
Amen. So needed this today!
