Quitting Is Not An Option!

Hi friends.  It’s Monday morning, and God has a good word for you this week.

He knows what it’s like to be under pressure, or to face intense opposition.  Jesus understands what it’s like to be you.  He endured much pressure and opposition in His ministry time here on earth, and He overcame every fiery trial every contradictory thought and test that the enemy threw at Him.  And You can too!  Let’s look at some powerful verses below.

2 Corinthians 4:6-8 TPT

For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option.

Hebrews 12:3 TPT

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.

Hebrews 12:3 NKJ

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

He has put His light, His brightness in us and given us brand new spirits that has every good thing that is in Jesus into us.  Our outer selves may be like “clay jars” as it states above, but, Oh, what we have inside will counter the pressure from without.  You and I have “immeasurable power” in us.  We don’t ever have to rely on our own power, but we can Always rely on His.

He is reminding you today, don’t allow yourself to be discouraged, don’t be weary I well doing, and don’t quit or give up!

These are just a few reminders of what God has said about you:

  • I have given you the land.
  • I have given you the victory.
  • You’ve already got every good and perfect gift.
  • I have caused you to triumph in every place.
  • You are already blessed.
  • You are forgiven.
  • You are healed.
  • You are loved.
  • You have My Peace.

Be encouraged today, not discouraged.  He endured so much for you, so you would not have to.  Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Keep your eyes and heart focused on Him and you will never quit or give up.

Hebrews 12:2 TPT – We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!

Your teaching is anointed by the Holy Spirit. Pressing on in faith, for I am fully persuaded that He who has promised is faithful and able to do that which He has promised.

  3. I was just listening to your message from last week. You mentioned this message on quitting is not an option. I really needed to hear this today… I was at that breaking point where I did feel like quitting but I am a fighter and will not but your words really helped me pull back again. Thank you. ♥️

  4. Thanks Colleen. The devil is trying to get me to quit. The pain is beyond what seems possible to bear. Have no more faith for doctors. Medicine. Treatments. Too many. Too long. Has just taken money and left me without improvement. Wish you could come to the conference. Not for healing. I know by his stripes I’m healed. Have been prayed over 100’s of times it seems. But to keep in faith. I imagine myself teaching on healing journeys today. We moved to Co Spgs as an act of faith believing I’ll one day be able to drive there daily and strong enough to go to college.
Anyways… thank you. You’re a favorite of mine on HJT.
    Blessings Brandy Prince.
