His Truth And Faithfulness For You!

Morning friends and thank you for joining me for another Monday Morning Message from the Lord! 

For this week, I want to focus on God’s Truth and Faithfulness.  Knowing and understanding this will be an anchor and security for your life. 

We are going to begin in Psalm 91.  This is one of the most powerful Psalms of truth, faithfulness, protection, instruction, power and promise!

Verses 1-2 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”

Just in these 2 verses we are given instruction into some of the most powerful promises.  You and I are already “IN” Christ as a believer; however, it can be difficult living in the shelter and shadow of the Almighty and Most High if we are distant from Him in our thinking, our relationship and our hearts.  Being in a shadow, means you are very close by. God is wanting us to be relational and to stay close to Him in our heart and in our everyday lives. 

Learn to be confident and bold and say out of your mouth that “He is my Refuge and my Fortress, My God, in Him do I trust”.  When we do this, we are declaring whatever comes into our lives, He is the First and the Last to be that refuge and fortress in time of trouble. 

Psalm 46:1– God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.

Psalm 91:3-4 – For He will save you from the trap of the fowler,
And from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions,
And under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and a wall.  (AMPC – His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

Thank God that saves us from “trap (snare) of the fowler and from any deadly pestilence”. This is a promise; do you believe it?  A trap or snare represents deceit and hidden dangers.  Snares are cleverly hidden, relying on surprise and camouflage, much like the devil’s subtle strategies and schemes.  (Eph. 6). Symbolizing spiritual danger that can lead us astray.  God is continually saving us from “unseen dangers”, both day and night in our everyday lives.

What about deadly pestilence? – God’s protection from physical sickness, evil schemes, and spiritual attacks, promising divine refuge even amidst widespread calamity. 

Psalm 71:3 – Be to me a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

Brothers and sisters let’s see our Savior, Healer, Deliverer and God for who He really is!  He is a big God; He is Mighty to save and deliver.  I love how the above verse says we may “continually resort to His Shelter”.  Let’s live there, not visit there once in a while. 

We do not need to be afraid or live in fear of the devil or this world in what it is doing.  He is our Stronghold, our Strong Tower and our Shield and Wall to protect us In whatever the need is.   

I want to end with this”:  God is always Faithful even when we are not, His
Truth (His Word) and His Faithfulness is our Shield and our Wall!  See yourself inside that Wall and that Fortress, because that is where we dwell! 

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
