God’s Love Never Disappoints!

Happy Monday Morning friends!  As you know, every Monday morning I add a new blog to the website.  I would love to hear from those of you who either read it here on https://mondaymorningministry.co/ or my Facebook page.   What would you like to read about, what subjects are of interest to you for the circumstance you may be in right now.  I am looking forward to hearing from you.  I so rarely every bring this up, but would you pray about helping us as this ministry is growing?  You can help with a one-time gift or become a partner by helping us every month.  It took us awhile, but we are now a 501©(3) ministry, so your giving is tax deductible.   David and I both thank you for considering this, and we thank the few readers and viewers of my teachings on HJT who are being faithful givers to MMM.  We couldn’t grow without you.

So, let’s get into this morning’s message.  God’s love/hope never disappoints!  There is so much in the Word about His love towards us, for us, in us and through us.  We are so loved, but so few really believe how much we are loved with God’s love.  I’m not talking about human love, because that always has the potential to disappoint us, just like we can disappoint others in our human love. OH, but His love is so much different.

Our focus must be on His love, it’s what started everything in our lives….For God so Loved, that He gave…. And He has never stopped the giving of this perfect love!   Since God has already given it to us, we are not trying to get it from Him, it’s already been freely given to us.  The Holy Spirit helps us to understand and walk in this love that the Father has for you and me.

Romans 5:5

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The world tells us “don’t get your hopes up”.  That is because they are without God.  You are NOT!  We need to get our hopes up as high as the heavens, why?  Because “the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”  You are filled with the Love of God, it’s been “Poured Out” IN you!

1 John 4:10

10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the sacrifice) for our sins.

Remind yourself that it’s not what you have done that caused God to love you, but what He did in sending Jesus, the Christ to show/prove His love to you.  This should give us confidence, that no matter what has happened in our lives, He will always love us with His love.  And this love is explained in Eph. 3:17-19 (read it below).

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 3:17-19

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

This is like the cherry on top of the sundae.  This fulfills your life by knowing and experiencing His Love!  It is dwelling in your hearts.  This verse infers that YOU ARE rooted and grounded in that love so that you will not be moved by circumstances and situations that would try and tell you it’s not true.  The tempter will always attempt to tell you it’s not true, so don’t be surprised by that.

There is so much to His love for us as we just read in Eph. 3:18 that I will continue this next Monday.
