Good Monday morning friends. This week let’s keep our minds on who God says we are. Like me, I pray that sounds like a really good idea to you also.
We are going to look at several things that we are told in the book of Ephesians, starting with:
Ephesians 2:10 AMP. For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
Workmanship also can mean “ we are the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry etched on lives..
In order to truly understand this verse, we should also understand how just the first 2 chapters of Ephesians reveals what the Father is saying to us as His children, His workmanship.
This is only a partial list of some of the blessings that Paul mentioned in the first two chapters of this letter:
- We Have….
- Been adopted as God’s children – Ephesians 1:5
- Redemption through Jesus’ blood and the forgiveness of our sins – Ephesians 1:7
- Obtained an inheritance – Ephesians 1:11
- Been sealed with the Holy Spirit – Ephesians 1:13
- Been given the same power that raised Christ from the dead – Ephesians 1:19-20
- Been made the one new man – Ephesians 2:15
- Been made fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God – Ephesians 2:19
- Become a holy temple in the Lord – Ephesians 2:21
- Become a habitation of God – Ephesians 2:22 etc.
Can you now see how God can say we are the work of His hands (workmanship)? Can you see what and who you are because of this? When you have the revelation (the revealing) of what took place at the cross of Christ that opened the door to this Great Salvation, you will live your life with such confidence and joy in who He made you to be!
He already planned a Good life that He pre-arranged for you. This is how in-depth He knows you. He knew what would bring you the greatest joy of bringing Heaven to earth through you!
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
What is the truth about nde ? I’ve watched several stories and most are very believable, and they’re uplifting seeing how some have seen the Lord and angels and people. Should I be watching this?
