You have a choice – You make the decision!
Life Lesson – You have a choice – feed on the Word regularly, take it in, allow it to become a part of you, be ready to sow it into your life and the lives of others, or starve yourself and remain weak and ineffective in the Kingdom. You can hear His voice.
What are the consequences of not consuming the Word?
- A lack of wisdom
- Ineffective in our lives and witness
- Destruction
How God Speaks to us. Jeremiah 33:3.
As we consume the Word into our lives, we begin to understand Him more and more.

You can hear His voice!
What does it mean “Hear” – Come, give audience, understand. Can be impression, knowing, still small voice, picture.
- It takes time and practice. 1 Samuel 3:8-10
- 8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. Then he arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you did call me.” Then Eli perceived that the LORD had called the boy.
- 9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, LORD, for Your servant hears.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
- 10 Now the LORD came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”
Just like Samuel, it took him time to learn that what he was hearing was God speaking to his heart. You and I are no different. He is speaking, and we are learning to both hear and discern what He is saying to us. Have an ear to hear and give yourself time to hear. We don’t want to walk through the consequences of not ingesting the Word of God into our souls.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
