Life Lessons| Part 1 Stay In The Process

For the next several weeks I will be going through something called “Life Lessons”. When I was in Charis Bible College we learned many things. One of the most important, is called “Life Lessons”. I want to share some of them with you, because they will help you just as they helped me when I was learning about them.

Life Lesson – Life doesn’t look like I thought it would be. – But if I stay in the process and let the Lord complete His work it will add value to my life and accomplish His purpose in me.

What is a Process?

Process – To proceed – Moving forward – progressive course – gradual process – a series of actions or experiments – a series of motions or changes in growth or decay.

2 Timothy 3:16 – 17 (NKJV)
16  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Walking in the process of learning and understanding the Scriptures is the Foundation to our growing in Christ along with developing our relationship with Him. Read these next few verses to see what and why this is so important.

Psalm 19:7-11 (NKJV)
7  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8  The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10  More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11  Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.

Think about it, the Word will convert your soul, (bringing it back to it’s original intent). I will make you wise, it will enlighten your eyes (bringing revelation), the Word endures, is true and righteous. I love this part, you can desire it and Him more than gold and it becomes sweeter than honey to our lips, and, the Word will warn you when you are about to take a wrong step and if you heed it, you will see a great reward!

How do we receive these benefits?

  1. Take in – read it
  2. Digest – meditation and prayer
  3. Assimilate – application – how does this apply to my life right now?

Take the time to experience the benefits listed above this week and I look forward to sharing more of these with you next week.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
