From Fear To Freedom!

Good Monday Morning Friends, I pray this week finds you well!

You Can Let Go of Fear

Yes, Fear has a voice—but so does God.
The question is: which one are you listening to?

Many of us have experienced fear in different ways—fear from the enemy, fear from circumstances, and even fear caused by people. Sometimes it creeps in quietly, and other times it comes suddenly and strongly. And if we’re honest, it can feel overwhelming.

But here is the truth you need to hold onto today: you can let go of fear.

Fear only brings torment. It weighs down your heart and tries to hold you back from what God has planned for your life. I know what it’s like to be in that place—but I also know what it’s like to walk in freedom from it. And the good news is, this freedom that Christ paid for is available to you now and always will be.

God’s Voice Over Fear

All throughout Scripture, from beginning to end, God reminds us again and again: “Do not fear.” This isn’t just a suggestion—it’s an invitation to live differently.

In John 14:27, Jesus says:
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

His peace is not like the world’s peace—it’s steady, unshaken, and greater than anything you’re facing.

And in 2 Timothy 1:7, we are reminded:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Fear does not come from God. Power does. Love does. A sound and steady mind does.

God Is With You

So often, fear grows when we forget how big our God is, when we focus on everything but Him! But listen to His promise:

In Isaiah 41:13:AMP
“For I the Lord your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord],
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’.’”

You are not facing anything alone. God Himself is holding your hand.

And again in Isaiah 41:10:AMP
“Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].”

He is with you, He strengthens you, and He upholds you.

Instead of agreeing with fear, begin to agree with God. See your life the way He sees your life. Trust His promises over your worries.

Choose Faith Over Fear

In Deuteronomy 31:6, we are encouraged:
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God… will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Who is “them”? Anything that tries to produce fear or anxiety in your heart. God is with you everywhere you go and in everything you face. He has promised to never leave you.

When fear speaks loudly, Jesus gives a simple but powerful response in Mark 5:36:
“Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Even in the face of impossible situations, Jesus tells us not to let fear change our minds, but to believe what He has said.

Sometimes fear comes from worrying about what others might think or say. But Isaiah 51:7 reminds us:
“Do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their insults.”

You are righteous. God’s Word is in your heart. You have nothing to fear.

You Have Been Set Free

Fear can feel like a chain that has held you for years, but Jesus has already broken that bondage. Hebrews 2:14–15 tells us 14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. That means fear is no longer your master—you have been set free.

Isaiah 35:4 declares:
“Be strong, do not fear! … He will come and save you.”

And the powerful truth is—He already has. Jesus has already defeated what you’re afraid of. You don’t have to live as “fearful-hearted” anymore.

Rest in the Father’s Heart

Let this final truth settle deeply into your heart. In Luke 12:32, Jesus says:
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

God is not holding back from you. He delights in giving to you. And there is no fear in His Kingdom.

Today, you can make a choice.
Let go of fear. Replace it with God’s promises. Agree with what He says, not what fear says.

Remember: you are Loved. you are Righteous and you are His!
