You Are A Power House!

Greetings to you this beautiful Monday Morning!  Did you know that you, yes, you are a house filled with Power? 

The bible says that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.   1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 

Just the fact that the Holy Spirit came to live in you at the new birth and made you the very righteousness of God in Christ, lets us know that we are filled with His Power.   2 Corinthians 5:17, 21.

Your physical house/dwelling that you live in is filled with power.  When you come home and flip a switch you expect the electrical power in your house to cause the lights to come on, right?  Then that power makes your appliances, lamps, computers, etc. all work because they are connected to the source that empowers them.

You and I have a Power Source on the inside of us that is far greater than any electrical or earthly power.

Ephesians 3:20 – ²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Ephesians 3:20 TPT – Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.

We partner with God’s power in us by not doubting that we have it, this power source that is at work in us is not limited by our earthly understanding or expectations. When we agree with God and trust in His power, then God promises to achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination.

And this Power comes from within, it comes from the “Source” The Person of the Holy Spirit who is the power that works in you. 

Let’s look at Romans 8:11 Phillips – Nevertheless once the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives within you he will, by that same Spirit, bring to your whole being new strength and vitality.

This is amazing, He brings new strength and vitality to your whole being.  Spirit, soul and body. 

1 Thessalonians 5:23 proves this out.  – ²³ Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify^[a] you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Phillips – May the God of peace make you holy through and through. May you be kept in soul and mind and body in spotless integrity until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is utterly faithful, and he will finish what he has set out to do.

So, no matter what in your life needs to be made whole, complete, strengthened, or preserved, is present in your spirit able and wanting to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, or imagine!  Let’s meditate on this for a while.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
