A joyful good morning to all my Monday Morning Ministry friends! As I was thinking about what to write for this Monday, I had a prompting to remind us that if we don’t like what we are harvesting, that we can change what we are planting. Isn’t that good news? We don’t have to rely on anyone else to do something for us. We do have the opportunity to plant into our hearts whatever we want.
1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides [m]forever,
We have Seed that we can plant into our hearts every day, and it is incorruptible, meaning – uncorrupted, not liable to corruption or decay, imperishable. Do you know what this means? It means that any Word from God that you take and think on, meditate on will give you exactly what you put in the soil of your heart. Then, you will reap exactly the same and “that Word/Seed” will grow, no doubt.
Mark, chapter 4 shows us the different types of “soils” that can be planted in, but there is only one that enjoys the fruits of what was planted. I encourage you to read the whole parable that Jesus taught about it.
Mark 4:8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
Mark 4: 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
This week, whatever you need in your life or the life of your family, begin by searching for the “Seed” that will give you the “harvest” you want.
Your heart is the garden of your life just waiting for you to plant God’s Seed which is not liable to corruption of any kind.
What Seed do you need to plant in your garden?
- Health
- Healing
- Peace
- Love
- Joy
- Strength
- A sound mind
- To know your true identity
Find the Incorruptible Seed of the Word of God you need and start the process of planting that Seed into your garden, and, in time, you will see the fruit of that seed.
Remember, in the original garden, God came and walked and talked with Adam and Even in the cool of the Garden. He is the same God and Father, and He is still walking and talking with you and providing Seed for you to have the most amazing garden and be able to enjoy all that is being harvested and reaped.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
Colleen. This is so hopeful.
Thank you. Also. Please wish David a happy belated bday. His work alongside of you is so inspiring. You are both great. Deb
Thank you Colleen.I believe my garden is getting fuller and you help with that. Thanks so much to you and David.
Thank you Colleen, “my garden” is blooming with God’s promises!❤️
This is amazing. I was listening to teaching on this subject last night and wrote in my journal, “The Word is the seed you plant in your heart.” Thank you Colleen!
Happy belated birthday to David!!
Thank you much! Seed, time, and harvest. You, David, T and I were talking about seasons in the church in Texas. I asked you what your favorite time of years was? Right now here in Iowa, everything is beautiful green. The only harvest colors are the few oats fields and most of them are already harvested. This is exactly where I am! So much of what I have planted is still maturing. But I am harvesting too! Thank you our friends for ministering to us as we patiently wait for harvest time! Roscoe and T.
Thank you dear sister Colleen. Always an encouraging word which I need to hear. God bless you and David
