Good Monday Morning Friends!
Doesn’t God declare (speak) before it happens, Rom. 4:20? In the Gospels, we watch the unfolding of all the prophecies about Jesus come to pass right before our eyes (if we’ll open them to see spiritually) He came to save, heal, deliver, and restore us to what our Father originally intended for us.
Read these verses and think on them until they take root in your heart and believe them. God’s whole purpose was to bring you back into right relationship with Him so what Jesus did at the cross would provide the way for you and I to walk in His Restoration for our lives.
Psalms 23:3
He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake.
Zechariah 9:12
Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you. ( this is after the cross for you and I)
What About Matthew 8:17?
…that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

When evening came, they brought to him many who were possessed by evil spirits, which he expelled with a word. Indeed, he healed all who were ill. Thus, was fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy ‘He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses’.
TPT
In doing this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: He put upon himself our weaknesses, and he carried away our diseases and made us well.
All what Jesus did at the cross was meant to restore us to the Father’s original plan!
This is how God want you to be RESTORED! To restore, refresh, repair, to bring back, to be returned to an “original condition”, to bring back into existence or use, to put (someone) back in a former position or role.
- Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
- Psalms 19: The law (Word of God) of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; This word “converting” has the exact same meaning as restores, back to its original condition.
- Job 23:36 He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.
- Luke 6:10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.
- Mark 8:25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
Luke 4:18 – These are Words spoken for you! This is
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; (curing their pains and their sorrows)
Here is something for you to keep your eyes on and in your heart this week:
Psalm 34:19, Psalm 68:20, Psalm 91:16, Psalm 103:3-4, Psalm 107:20, and Matthew 8:17. I know that God is my healer, that God is my deliverer, that He will sustain me with long life, that He sent His Word and healed me, that Jesus bore my sickness and disease, and that by His stripes I am healed.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous and you are His!
