🥺When Life Feels Overwhelming!

Good Monday Morning Friends!

 How do you keep trusting God when life feels overwhelming? This a question asked very often.  I want to share some Godly and practical wisdom on how to anchor your faith in God during trials.

We all know difficulties will come, but the real challenge is positioning ourselves to trust Him when our hearts and minds get clouded by pain and uncertainty. Let the Word of God offer encouragement and insight to help you remain steadfast in God’s love and promises.

You know God never meant for us to go through the things that happen in this world, so He sent Jesus to redeem us back and walk with us while we live here on this earth.  He did not leave us helpless, or hopeless. 

This week, I want you to get a renewed revelation that You Can Trust Him right in the middle of the trials you are going through:

• For the way of escape,
• For the direction that you need
• For the truth to come alive
• To bring light and healing to your situation 

Jesus said “in John 16:33 AMP

³³ I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]. (And He is abiding in you, and you in Him!)

So, what does it mean to have tribulation?  It means we can experience “a pressing, pressing together, pressure, oppression, affliction and distress”.   This is what Jesus said He overcame for us. 

What does it mean to “Overcome”?  I’m glad you asked; it means “to conquer, to carry off the victory, to come off victorious, of Christ, victories over all His foes, to win the case, to subdue, to prevail, and get the victory”!

This is how we keep trusting in Him when life seems overwhelming!

John 16:33 TPT

And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world, you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”

Proverbs 29:25 TPT

Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place.

This is what trials, distresses and sufferings are trying to do.  To make us fear and be intimidated.  But the good news is we have an overcoming Savior, and we have been given an overcoming faith. 

1 John 5:4-5

⁴ For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

⁵ Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.

1 John 5:4-5 TPT

You see , every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world.  So, who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  (This is YOU)

Take hold of these Words brothers and sisters and don’t let go of them.  God is your refuge and fortress, and He is always a very present help in a time of trouble. 

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous and you are His!
