Good Monday Morning Friends!
When it comes to healing, it helps when we know where it came from. Redemption was not your idea, or mine. It was God’s perfect plan from the beginning. Just as salvation and forgiveness are yours right now, so is your complete healing! Galatians 5:1 (AMP) declares “Christ set us free (completely liberating us); therefore, keep standing firm!” This freedom includes liberation from sickness too- it may attack your body, but it doesn’t own you!
Galatians 5:1AMP – It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed].
Let’s look at Galatians 4:7 AMP – Therefore you are no longer a slave (bond-servant), but a son; and if a son, then also an heir through [the gracious act of] God [through Christ].
What thoughts are dominating your mind today? “I’m not worthy”, “I’m not good enough”, “I don’t deserve it”, “I don’t think He’ll do it for me”? Not one of these are true according to what God says about you, NOT ONE! Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being……. , to give you a future and a hope.
Don’t you think that healing is part of that Divine Plan that He has for you?
As Proverbs 27:19 reveals “As in water face reflects face, So the heart of man reflects man.” What you believe about your identity in Christ determines what you experience.
Ephesians 1: 5-6 – “ having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.”
You’re not begging for healing – you’re standing in your inheritance! Ephesians 1:11 confirms this – “In Him we have obtained an inheritance!” This includes wholeness for your soul and body as now your spirit is already made new!
Accepting you into the “beloved” as it states here was according to God’s good pleasure, not what you’ve done or not done, it was His will!!! Wow, that should begin to change your mind about who you are and why God wants you well.
Also, in Ephesians 1:18 says, God has “enlightened the eyes of our understanding” so you can walk in this reality of who God is and who you are in Christ (in the Beloved)!
Colossians 1:12 – “giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light”.
The enemy would want you to live like a slave to sickness, but Romans 8:15 declares you’ve received “the Spirit of adoption by who we cry out “Abba Father”! and Romans 8:16 confirms this “The Spirit Himself bears witness that we are children of God!”
Today, this week, stand firm in this truth: Your healing was purchased at the cross just like your salvation. You don’t have to beg for what’s already yours – take this by faith! The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, (Romans 8:11)
Your redemption was God’s idea – and He always finishes what He starts! Let your heart believe it!
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
Wow!!! Yes Colleen. So much in these verses; especially when coupled together. It also led me to remembrance of what the Lord had impressed upon me prior to reading this. WOO HOO! ❤️
Amen dear sister Colleen! Again I needed to hear this and rest in His love and finished works, thank YOU 🙏
Amen!!!
That’s what I’m doing now… resting in His ” finished work ” after months of laboring to try and get the manifestation to happen.
Thank you.
❤️
