Does Your Healing Confidence Match God’s Promise?

Good Monday Morning Friends,

This week, I want to look at how our confidence in God’s healing matches what God has already promised.

Let’s say, you declare “by His Stripes I am healed” Isaiah 53:3  but still lie awake at night worrying about symptoms, it might be that your head knows about this verse – but your heart hasn’t fully grasped it yet.   Pure faith isn’t just repeating scripture; it’s being able to see healing in your spirit before you see it in your body.  Doubt creeps in when we trust our senses more than God’s sworn Word to us.  But here’s the truth: What God says about you and your health is more real than anything else that is speaking to you.

God’s Word doesn’t return empty, but instead it explodes with purpose.

Isaiah 55:11So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”  Healing isn’t a maybe – it is a divine certainty already set in motion through what Christ did at the cross.  When you stand on scripture, you’re not begging God to act; you’re aligning with what He’s already decreed.  Our job is to “Hold Fast our confession” Hebrews 10:23 even when the opposite is happening.

Hebrews 10:23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

The battle isn’t really for your body – it’s for your belief – your faith.

Every test result, every ache, or doctor’s report will always be a challenge to God’s authority.   For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment”.. Luke 1:37.  If you know you don’t believe right now, then don’t give up, instead take His Word and give it time to get into your heart and your vision of what God is saying about you.  I think that sometimes we just jump in and say that we believe but haven’t taken the time to allow the Holy Spirit to make it revelation (making it real) to us.

Your healing isn’t pending God’s approval – it’s waiting on our unshakeable conviction that what He said is as good as done.  The enemy cannot veto scripture, but he’ll try to distract you from it.  This is why we need to let it do its work in our hearts.

God watches over His Word to perform it.

Jeremiah 1:12 reveals a game-changing  principle: God doesn’t just speak promises – “He watches over His Word to complete it”. When He says, “ I am the Lord who heals you” Exodus 15:26 He’s not just offering hope, He’s issuing a blood-bought guarantee.   Like Jeremiah, you must “see well”, “see healed”, “see good”.  Fix your spiritual eyes on God’s report, and not the world’s.

Prayer:  Father, I am asking you to show me how to awaken my confidence in your Word until it burns brighter than any fear that comes my way. I reject every lie that contradicts your promise “By Jesus’ stripes, I am healed”.  My desire is to live like it’s true long before I feel it.  You are the Healer and it’s by Your power, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
