Your Confidence In God’s Healing Promise

Good Monday Morning Friends,

Do you have confidence in what God has promised you?  That’s great question.  So, let’s see what the Word has to say to us.

If you declare “ by His stripes I am healed”, 1 Peter 2:24  but lie  awake worrying about the symptoms, your head know knows the verse, but your heart hasn’t fully grasped it yet.  Faith isn’t just repeating scripture; it’s also seeing healing  in our spirit even before it manifests in our body.  Doubt creeps in when we trust our senses and lean to our own understanding. But here’s the truth; What God says about your health is more real than any pain, diagnosis or fear.

Did you know that God’s Word doesn’t return empty or purposeless – instead, it explodes with promise!

Isaiah 55:11 thunders, “So shall my Word be that goes froth from My mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please.”  Healing isn’t a maybe – it’s a divine certainty already set in motion through the finished work of the cross.  When you stand on scripture, you’re not begging God to do something, you are aligning with what He’s already decreed.  So what do we do? We “Hold fast to our confession” Hebrews 10:23 even when symptoms are screaming otherwise.

Here is Jeremiah’s lesson for us.

God watches over His Word to perform it.  Jeremiah 1:12 reveals a game-changing principle:  God doesn’t just speak promises, He “watches over His Word to perform it.”  When He says “ I am the Lord who heals you” Exodus 15:26 He is not just offering hope –  He is issuing a blood bought guarantee, that’s Jesus!  Let’s be like Jeremiah and see, fix your spiritual eyes on God’s report, and not the world’s.

The Battle isn’t just for your body – it’s for your faith (belief).

Every ache, test result, or doctor’s diagnoses is a direct challenge to God’s authority.  But remember, “no word from God is void of power” – Luke 1:37.  We are not waiting for approval for healing,  healing is waiting on your unshakable persuasion that what He says is as good as done!  Don’t let the enemy distract you from the Truth.

Prayer:

Father, ignite my confidence in your Word until it burns brighter than any fear that challenges me.  Help me to reject every lie that contradicts your promise.  By Jesus wounds I am healed, and I want to live like it’s true.  Thank you that Your Word is so powerful for me that I CAN Stand Firm, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Remember, you are Love, you are Righteous, and you are His!

  1. I am 74 years old and I suffer with much pain from arthritis in both knees and damage to the nerves in my spine. During surgery the surgeon got a nerve wrapped around some tendons and ligaments which causes much leg pain. I have been believing for almost three years for healing, but apparently there is still some doubt. Please pray that God will help me get rid of unbelief. I listen to healing journeys and to Andrew nearly every day and try to read my Bible, but I have a hard time comprehending it. God bless you and David for all you do. Your messages have been very helpful, but I find myself falling short believing that healing is for me.

    love you Colleen!

  3. Love your teaching of the Word, the Truth. In 2022 I was diagnosed with the same thing Barry Bennett had, my tumor was at the base of my tongue, could not talk or swallow, or breathe even with a track. Doc said I would be dead by April 2024, but In July 2024 I gave all MY efforts for healing completely over to God, and healing begin right then…by Dec 2024 I was talking, breathing, swallowing..trach removed and feeding tube removed..all praise and all thanksgiving to HIM who’s Word heals. At 6’4” my wt was down to 134…now 185. God killed this lymphoma at the roots and my healing is total….praise HIM forever.

  7. Since there are so many distractions throughout each day, and even tasks that I cannot avoid, I must keep it simple.
Rather than focus on each and every healing scripture, I focus on Him and His profound love for me. It’s out of that love that healing, provision, and even my identity is established.
My confidence has got to be in really knowing that He is with me, in me, that He sees me, knows me and when I call on Him, He helps me with every little thing. Or big.
When I can’t do what most can, He’s the One who geñķeminds me not to be jealous or judge. When I can’t put on a sock or a shoe, I ask for Jesus to help me see a different way, all of a sudden, it’s on…proving Jesus truly is a constant help in time of need.
I know this is long, but it’s good for me to acknowledge and perhaps good for others to read (if they’re still reading). LOL. God bless you Colleen and David.
