Hey, Good Morning, It’s Monday again and God has such an encouraging word for us all to take us through this week in strength and confidence in Him!
Colossians 2:5 AMP
For even though I am absent [from you] in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, delighted to see your good discipline [as you stand shoulder to shoulder and form a solid front] and to see the stability of your faith in Christ
What did Paul mean when he said to “see the stability of your faith in Christ? It goes on to say in this verse, that that stability is:
[your steadfast reliance on Him and your unwavering confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
This is so powerful that we can have an unwavering confidence in His Power, His Wisdom, and His Goodness! This covers anything and everything we would need in this life.
Colossians 2:3
For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.
You can enjoy this confidence in Him because you are in Him, and you can discover all of what He has for you through your relationship with Him and by what He says in His Word. In these next couple of verses, we see that we are to walk in our relationship in the same way we received Him, which was by faith. We believed the Gospel of our Salvation as it was presented to us and that Salvation (deliverance, preservation, safety, and health) is still being lived out in our lives, it will never end.
Colossians 2:6-7
AMP
6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], 7 having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established [a]in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.
Colossians 2:6-7
TPT
In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with him! Your spiritual roots go deeply into His life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have; absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him!
During this week, remind yourself that YOU now can be so deeply rooted in Him that you are being continually built up and established in your faith to continue on in your journey in His strength and encouraged by the Holy Spirit to always keep moving forward progressing in this beautiful eternal relationship you have with your Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Provider, Lover and King!
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
I love this and it’s exactly what I needed to start the week off right. Thank you! I also LOVE the tree picture! It reminds me of God’s beautiful strength that we are rooted in.
Thank you Colleen for another beautiful reminder!❤️

Oh boy oh boy!
Stability, confidence,
Rooted deeply.. Words and phrases that at times in different seasons seem so elusive.
I’ve been in John 15 the I am The Vine chapter with words like abide.
I think it’s so important in these times that we’re living in that our faith is anchored stable and that we do abide iñ spite of the distractions.
Oh boy oh boy!
To me this is the most important time To talk about the stability of our faith.
I’ve been in John 15 where the word abide is prevalent.
Thank you Colleen for this message.
