God’s Supernatural Protection and Long Life!

Good Monday Morning Friends. I know you will enjoy today’s devotional on divine protection and a promised long life.

God’s supernatural protection is a central theme in the Bible, as proven by many verses about Divine protection.  These passages shows that God shields and watches over His children, providing them with strength, comfort, and deliverance from harm.  The promises of protection are extensive, covering all aspects of our life. 

It seems that so many are afraid to fly, drive, walk or even leave their house.  This is not the freedom that Jesus paid for us to walk in.  Read all the verses in Psalm 121,  does this look like we should be afraid?  Absolutely not, but we do need to assure our hearts with this truth and not let go of them!

Psalm 121:2-8 AMP

Specifically, vs. 7-8. These are WOW verses for me!
The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your life.
The Lord will guard you’re going out and your coming in [everything that you do]
From this time forth and forever.

By trusting in His protection, believers can experience peace, security, and the assurance that our Heavenly Father is always with us!  He knew you would be born at this time and where you are.  You are here for such a time as this!  God has a purpose for each of us and He desires to bless us with long life.

I love Psalm 91, because I see we are Divinely protected from everything!   Read the whole Psalm.  I love verse 16 – “With a long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”

However, it’s essential to recognize that these promises are specifically directed towards those who have a relationship with Christ and put their faith in what God says in His Word.  Remember, God cannot lie, ever!

There is a difference between God’s children and those who are not. I think this distinction highlights the importance of our close relationship with Him, and His love for you.  You belong to Him, you are not an orphan, you have a Savior a Healer, a Deliverer, a Comforter who loves you and desires to see you well and healthy in every area of your life. 

He wants you to enjoy life, to work, take care of your family, go and enjoy God’s creation and have fun in life! 

In conclusion, the Bible presents a clear message that God offers unparalleled protection to His children, covering them in all circumstances. 

Hebrews 13:5b -6 “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” ⁶ So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say,

“The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”

There are way too many scriptures referencing His Protection.  Here are just a few.  I would recommend you do your own study to see how good He really is and what a wonderful life He wants for us.  God wants our days/years lengthened.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
