I was thinking back today about something I did that was very wrong. Those thoughts can take you down one of two roads. One of despair of how could I, and can anything be done for it to be redeemed; does He even know me anymore, or one of humility, to run to the one who gave me redemption in the first place the moment I was Born Again!
He reminded me of Psalm 139:7-10
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 (H)If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
(I)If I make my bed in [c]hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
Have you ever felt like you were in a place that even God can’t find you? You are wrong! Whether you are at your best or at your worst, He will never leave you, nor forsake you, EVER!
Until Jesus, none had every experienced such love and commitment to the true identity and nature of a new creation in Christ! Today, my life is in His very hands and His will is being done in my life. Is it the same for you? If it isn’t, let Him know that He has ALL of you, not just a part.
No matter where you are or what you have done, He promises that He will lead you and He will not let you go! Meditate this week on Psalm 139: 1-12. You will see a whole new picture of your Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Provider and Lover of your soul!
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
