Joyful Monday Morning Friends! Over the last couple of weeks my husband added a remote control to my small reading lamp that I use every morning where I spend my time with the Lord. I will confess, we love remotes and dimmers for lights all over the house. You might be asking, what does this have anything to do with the Lord? He can use anything to get a message across to us.

2 Samuel 22:29
For You, O Lord, are my Lamp; (light) the Lord lightens my darkness. (added)
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
I found that as I turned on one light in the back room, another one in the living room turned on and vice versa. Somehow, they are on the same frequency so when I turned one light on, the other turned on as well. How many times have I been reading a scripture and another one came to mind? Many times, this has happened. He knows what frequency we need to be on to hear Him and be led by Him down the path of life.
I love how Samuel says the Lord is my Lamp, my Light and if there is any darkness, He will light it up and show him the way out. And how about David, he also understood that the Lord (His Word) would bring light to his every step in life to keep him on the right path.
I am so glad we are not left to ourselves in this life. We have a promise that if we will take His Word, we walk the right path as His light shines ever so bright, so we do not need to be afraid or stumble.
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
This week, let His light shine in any dark areas in your life and His light will lighten your next step and you will see the path set in front of you. He wants His Light to bring you into all that He has for you!
