The Secret Place

When you were a little kid did you ever find a “secret place” to hide where you thought no one else could find you? sometimes it was just you in that little hiding place and then other times only our most trusted little friend could come. Well, I have good news for you today, you still have a secret place, and this place is accessible only by you and God. We always have our hiding place in His Presence. Can you hear Him calling you to discover this place again!

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.””
Psalms 91:1-2 NKJV

Psalm 91 starts out by telling us to “dwell”, to “live” and “abide” with Him.  When you are in a shadow of something , it speaks of closeness.  Our Father wants us close to Him and His presence.  It’s interesting that the next verse tells us to SAY something .  He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.

In the AMPC – He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]

Psalm 27:5 – For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will he hide me: He will set me on hihg upon a rock.

Declare it today that it’s God who you trust and run to.  Take time to “be with Him” throughout your day.  Talk to Him, invite Him into everything you’re involved in and see how acknowledging His presence makes a difference in your life and in the lives others!

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
