Who Is At Work?

Philippians 2:13 – For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.  

Whether we feel it or not, The Holy Spirit is always working in us.  It is God’s will to work in you His desires for your life and show you what brings Him great pleasure concerning you. 

The Passion translation says it this way; God will continually revitalize you, implanting (the seed) within you the passion to do what pleases Him.  

We don’t always feel like He is working in us, but He is.  Just like we don’t see the seed working in the ground, but it is.  At some point, we’ll see the fruit of that seed come up and grow into His will and good pleasure in your life. 

God is a Spirit, and now our spirits are made brand new in Christ 2 Corinthians 5:17. This is where God works in us of His good pleasure. 

Listen to this verse in Isaiah 26:12 AMP –   Lord, You will ordain peace (God’s favor and blessings, both temporal and spiritual) for us, for You have also wrought [worked] in us and for us all our works. 

This isn’t talking about all you can do for Him, it is Him who has worked in you, and for you.  Don’t get performance oriented today, rest in His works in you and the works you’ll do will come out of your relationship with Him, not out of “I have to”!

Ask the Holy Spirit what He is working in you today.  Listen for Him, expect to hear Him, be patient, and have a “positive expectation of good” (that’s Bible Hope) and you will hear Him.  

He loves you and has a good path for you today, and the rest of your life!

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
