The Word Meets Every Healing Need You Have:

What Was Finished at the Cross Still Speaks Today.

Good Monday Morning Friends!

From the very beginning, God revealed Himself as a speaking God. In Genesis 1, nine times we read, “Then God said.” His Word created light, life, order, and beauty. His original intent for humanity was perfection—no sin, no sickness, no pain, no anxiety, no fear, no evil of any kind. Healing was not an afterthought; wholeness was woven into creation itself. The same Word that created all things is the Word that sustains, restores, and heals every part of our lives—body, mind, and emotions.

But where do we see the fullness of that healing heart? At the Cross. This is where it was all bought back. This is where the price was paid in full for you and me. At the Cross, sin, sickness, and disease were utterly destroyed—not by our obedience, but by His; not by our performance, but by His finished work. This is foundational to our belief. If God said it, He will do it. If He spoke it, He will make it good.

“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”

— Numbers 23:19

“For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
— 1 John 3:8

Healing is not only about physical restoration; it is about our mind and emotions also.  We have restored union with God because of the blood of Jesus.  Scripture reveals that we have been brought into oneness with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is no separation—separation is an illusion from the enemy. Oneness has always been God’s idea. He desires to express Himself through your touch, your voice, your presence. There is no other place in the universe where God would rather dwell than in you. He is not distant from your need; He is alive within you.

“I pray that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us… I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one.”
— John 17:21,23

“To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
— Ephesians 3:19–20 (NKJV)

The power that raised Christ from the dead now works in you. You have been qualified, delivered, redeemed. This is not a future promise—it is a present reality. The same mighty power is available through faith, energizing you from the inside out. Your life becomes an advertisement of His immense power as it works through you. Healing flows from identity—knowing you belong to Him and that His Spirit lives within you.

“Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
— Colossians 1:12–14

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree… by whose stripes you were healed.”
— 1 Peter 2:24

The Word does not merely inform us about healing—it imparts healing. Jesus cast out spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The psalmist declares that God sent His Word and healed them. When you give attention to His Word, keep it before your eyes, and plant it in your heart, it becomes life and health to all your flesh. His benefits include forgiveness, healing, redemption, lovingkindness, renewal, long life, and peace.

“He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.”

— Psalm 107:20

“Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases.”

— Psalm 103:2–3

“My son, give attention to my words…
For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.”

— Proverbs 4:20,22

This week, keep this in your heart and mind: at the Cross, sin, sickness, and disease were utterly destroyed by His obedience, not yours. The Word that created the world is the Word that sustains your healing. Fill your heart with it. Speak it. Believe it. The power of God is already at work in you—exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think.

Remember:  you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
