Believe In The Healer!

What if the only thing standing between you and breakthrough… is one word: Believe?

Not striving.
Not begging.
Not performing.
Just Believing.

This week let’s lean into what it means to believe in the Healer — for healing in our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and our souls.

The word believe appears over 250 times in the New Testament — of that, 100 times is in the Gospel of John alone. That’s not accidental. It is being emphasized to see the “Power of Believing!”

The Greek word for believe is pisteuō:

  • To have a firm conviction of someone’s goodness and ability
  • To place trust in God’s truth
  • To accept something as real and genuine

Biblical belief is not wishful thinking, but rather It is confident trust in the character and power of God and Christ.

In Gospel of John 20:29, Jesus told Thomas:  Blessed Are Those Who Believe

“Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Faith does not wait for proof. Faith is the evidence of what is not yet seen!
Faith trusts His heart before it sees His hand.

The Healer Has Not Changed: Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (AMP)

We see in Gospel of Matthew 4:23, Jesus went through Galilee:

  • Teaching
  • Preaching the gospel
  • Healing all kinds of sickness and disease

And here is the truth that should stir your spirit:  He hasn’t stopped.  The Healer revealed in Scripture is the same today.

In Gospel of Mark 9:21–24, a desperate father brought his tormented son to Jesus. His plea was raw and honest: “If You can do anything…” What was Jesus’ response?

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

And the father cried: “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

You can come to Jesus with faith mixed with tears. Belief just needs to be pure!
And He meets you there. What a comfort.  Belief is not denial of reality.
It is confidence in a greater Reality.

Remember, in the new creation, we now have the “Faith of the Son of God”

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Jesus told us, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father.  This means it is the Father’s will for you to be healed and live in health.

John 14:9 (NKJ) Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

In Gospel of Matthew 9:28, two blind men stood before Jesus. His question was direct:

“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”  Their answer?  Yes, Lord.”

He did not ask about their worthiness. He asked about their belief.  When we read His promises, will we give Him our Yes?

Will You Give Him Your YES To These Promises?

  • Psalms 107:20 – He sent His word and healed them.
  • Psalms 103:1–4 – Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.
  • Book of Isaiah 53:4–5 – By His stripes we are healed.
  • First Epistle of Peter 2:24 – By whose stripes you were healed.

Do we believe He heals physically?
Do we believe He restores mentally?
Do we believe He heals emotionally?
Do we believe He still makes whole what was broken?

🙏 Declaration:

Lord,
You are the Healer of my body, mind, and soul. Your Word strengthens my belief, and it silences fear.
Where doubt lingers, I will breathe your faith.
I choose to trust Your goodness, Your power, and Your promises.
I give You my Yes.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
