Merry Christmas Friends! I believe this will be a beautiful start to our Christmas week as we think about the fact that the Father loved us so much, that He brought His Son into the world so miraculously, that it gives us hope that whatever our need, He not only is able, but willing to move mountains, situations and circumstances on our behalf.
I pray that you haven’t let the Christmas ”story” become cliché to you over the years. It is one of the most powerful events in our world. As I was reading in the book of Luke 1:26-45 this scripture was highlighted to me:
Luke 1:37-38 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her.
This verse is astonishing- it is a promise of all promises. “For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible”. Just imagine, Mary a young girl is being told she will be pregnant and give birth to a child without any relations with a natural man. The most amazing Miracle Gift ever, the virgin birth! God was Jesus’ very Father! No human bloodline, only the sinless, spotless Son of God’s blood!
Outside of Mary’s one question, she was so trusting of God, that she immediately replied, “be it unto me according to your Word”. That is all it took to receive what was promised to her.
We can be just like Mary and truly believe from our heart that “with God nothing is, or ever shall be impossible”, even your situation, whatever it may be. Will you dare to believe Him?
Now listen to what Elizabeth said about Mary as she was inspired by the Holy Spirit –
Luke 1:45 – And blessed [spiritually fortunate and favored by God] is she who believed and confidently trusted that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her [by the angel sent] from the Lord.”
This is what God says when we believe and have a confident trust that He always will fulfill His Word to us. The only prerequisite is to believe it. When you said “Yes” and believed on Christ as your Savior, “You Became”. What did you become? exactly what God promised you, that you would be saved, and you were and are now a New Creation in Christ, never again to be who you were before.
Since God has performed these miracles, then there is no miracle too hard for Him to perform/fulfill for your life. In the coming year, be like Mary, and say “YES” and believe in your heart and watch the fulfillment of all God has said to you.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
Colleen!!! Thank you for this. Its true! Our brain works by predictive processing. In other words we get what we think about in our heart and mind. Beleive the Word and see it unfold. God bless you. Reading this was a second witness for me.
AMEN! THANK YOU so much for all of your prayers and ministry. God bless you and David. You are the messager of the Hope I cling to every day. Much love from Colleen in Massachusetts
What a wonderful message. Thank you Colleen and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Happy Christmas David and Colleen
Thank you so much Colleen for this beautiful way to start our Christmas week! “ For with God, nothing shall be impossible!❤️
Thank you Colleen for sharing these truths! I am currently reading the Immerse Bible Luke-Acts and confirms what the Lord is showing me about our response to His Word by how Zechariah and Mary responded to the angel.
Thank You Colleen! Thank you for the encouragement to keep the message of this season alive and fresh in our hearts! Blessings to you both Colleen and David. Merry Christmas
