Good Monday Morning Friends!
Thanks for stopping by to read today’s Monday Morning message that will help shape the way you live and think through the only thing that is truth, The Word Of God!
In today’s world, we have the opportunity to become very distracted on so many levels. However, something that I had seen in my own life, was how divided I could be in my attention. I could be reading about one thing and then see something new and shiny and start reading that.
We have, and are, being trained to only read “bite sized” pieces of information.
God has a better way! Why is it important “what is controlling your attention? What we give our attention to will determine direction for our health, and fruit of our lives. God’s Word calls us to focus—not on endless voices—but on His truth, which brings life, healing, wisdom, and peace.
In today’s world, distraction is constant. Notifications, social media, videos, and endless opinions compete for our attention. While these tools can be helpful, they were never meant to replace the Word of God.
We’ve been trained to consume bite-sized information, but God invites us into something deeper—focused attention on His voice.
Proverbs 4:20–23 (AMP)
- Pay attention to My words
- Be willing to learn
- Open your ears
- Keep My words in your heart
Result:
- Life to those who find them
- Healing and health to all their flesh
- A guarded heart that produces the springs of life
What God Is Teaching Us
God clearly shows us a pattern:
- Pay attention
- Be willing to learn
- Keep His Word close
- Guard your heart
When we do this, the outcome is not just spiritual growth—but life, healing, wisdom, and direction.
Growing in Wisdom
Proverbs 2:1–2, 5
- Receive His words
- Treasure His commands
- Apply your heart to understanding
The reward?
- Understanding the fear of the Lord
- Discovering the knowledge of God
This is what happens when we truly listen.
God’s Word Gives Direction
Psalm 119:105 (ERV)
“Your word is like a lamp that guides my steps,
a light that shows the path I should take.”
When we focus on His Word, confusion gives way to clarity.
Ask yourself:
- Do I need healing? → Pay attention to His Word
- Do I need provision or prosperity? → Pay attention to His Word
- Do I need peace? → Pay attention to His Word
- Do I need answers? → Pay attention to His Word
What you need is found where your attention should be, so take your attention and intentionally place it:
- Where it matters most
- Where it produces lasting fruit
- Where it leads to abundant life in Christ
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
