His Exceeding Greatness Towards You For Healing!

God’s Exceeding Greatness of His Power towards us who believe. God knew that we would be challenged when we began to believe and walk in what has already been accomplished through the cross of Christ.

Our faith (believing) in Him brings to pass what already belongs to us. We can walk in the healing and health provided to us at the cross as we reniew our minds to His Greatness and not to ours.

Scripture Focus:

“And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.”Ephesians 1:19

1. The Power That Raises the Dead (Ephesians 2:1-2)

Before Christ, we were spiritually dead – enslaved to sin and the influence of this fallen world. But God’s power didn’t just help us—it raised us from death and gave us His Life  (Eph. 2:5). The same power that resurrected Jesus now lives in us (Rom. 8:11).

  • Are you living like a victim,  or as one who has been raised in Christ’s victory?
  • The enemy wants you to forget the power at work within you. Remember—you are no longer bound by the “prince of the power of the air.” You are free by the law of Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:2

2. The Power That Works According to Faith (Matthew 9:29, Ephesians 3:20)

Ephesians 3:20 -Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Matthew 9:29 – Jesus said, “According to your faith let it be to you.” God’s power operates as we respond to the grace of the cross in proportion to our belief.

  • Let’s look at what a couple of these words mean:
  • Exceeding – beyond measure, surpassing human limits.
  • Abundantly – superabundant, overflowing
  • Let’s not limit God by our small expectations, especially when what He has promised is so powerful to transform our thinking, believing and our bodies!
  • “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Eph. 3:20).

3. The Power That Fulfills God’s Eternal Purpose (Ephesians 1:9, 3:11)

God’s power isn’t random—it moves according to His will and what He has declared. His plan was set before time (Eph. 1:4), and His power ensures it comes to pass as we believe what He’s said. . It is written, 1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

  • Are you aligning your life with His purpose and exceeding greatness for you, or struggling to accept His work of life, healing, health, peace and direction in you?
  • Remember, “He who began a good work in you will complete it.” (Phil. 1:6) He has promised!

4. The Power That Strengthens the Inner Man – Ephesians 3:16 – that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man

The battle isn’t just external—it’s in the mind and emotions to cause you to doubt God’s Word.  God’s power strengthens us from within so we stand unshaken in what we see, since we walk by faith and not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7

  • Are you feeding your heart and mind with truth, or letting the world and it’s words weaken you?
  • You can “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Eph. 6:10)

Prayer for you:

“Father, open my eyes to the exceeding greatness of Your power in me. Strengthen my faith to believe beyond what I see. Whatever my need is, align me with Your eternal purpose and let Your dunamis (explosive power) flow through me—not according to my weakness, but according to Your might working in me In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!

  4. My My MY! This one touched every part of my inner being. I am going through an inward change, and earlier tonight, the Lord told me to tell a friend who is going through one as well to read 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. I was obedient and gave her His message, and after I did, He told me that the message is also for me. I am excited, humbled, full of anticipation, and a little “scared” but I know all things from God are for my good, so I am just going to sit back and watch Him while He rolls up His sleeves and wait for the birth of what it is He has placed in me.

Thank you for the further confirmation, Colleen. You are a blessing!
