You Can Hear Him And Be Healed Too!

Good Monday Morning again friends.

This week I want us to discover those that came to “hear Jesus and be healed of whatever it was they were challenged with!   You can hear Him and be healed too.

Jesus healed all who came to Him regardless of the reason for their sickness.  Not one time did He ever say,  “this was your fault”, “you’re not good enough yet”, come back later, you haven’t suffered enough”, “I don’t want to yet”, It is just the opposite.  Let’s see what Jesus said:

  • I am willing, be cleansed
  • I will come and heal him
  • Only believe
  • Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity
  • Be made whole
  • Son, your sins are forgiven you, take up your bed and walk
  • Neither do I condemn you, go your way and sin no more
  • What do you want me to do for you
  • Do you want to be made whole
  • Go your way, your faith has made you whole

Have you ever wondered what people expected when they came to Jesus?  I believe they expected Him to help them with whatever the need was.  Are you expecting Him to help you today with no strings attached?  Do you have an expectation of good, or have you already decided nothing will happen?  Remember, they came to hear Him and to be healed, and so can you!

  • Luke 6:17-1817 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, 18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.
  • Luke 5:1515 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.

Because Jesus died and rose again, you now have a redemptive right to be healed!  This is what Jesus did for you.  The following verse is Christ’s work of redemption for you and I.  (Hear it and be healed)

  • Romans 8:2 – For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

“Whatever Jesus did with sin, He did with sickness, He bore them both.  When the power of sin was defeated at the cross, the power of sickness lost its authority.”

This new law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus was placed in you at the New Birth.  You were made a New Creation in Christ.  Jesus is till saying the same things to you and I as He did when He walked this earth.  But He is communicating it in the deepest part of us; in our spirits, Spirit to spirit!

The law of sin and death was dealt with at the cross, so when we said yes to Jesus and became New Creations in Christ; sin and death had to leave.  You are now released and liberated just like the woman in the Synagogue, when Jesus said “woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and You are His!

  1. Thank you Colleen. It’s very helpful to have a list of Jesus’ responses in one list. It really makes your point. Great teaching!

  4. Thank you beautiful sister!! I am facing a dilemma. I have MS and have been believing for 6 years, but continue to get worse. It seems I have been led to do a strict diet to get rid of parasites that are shown to be the cause of this dreaded disease. There are testimonies about people who are at the end of their ropes and gave got their lives back. And they even say they have been led by God to this diet. The evidence is convincing. I know there are others that have went to doctors like Barry Bennett and that God has a unique healing journey for all. So, I guess my question is would I be out of faith for taking doing this diet, but always bringing God into the center? I think I am also confused because I’m not sure if this is where God is leading me and not my mind? But then I think He is leading me it makes sense to me and I really need some intervention at this time.
