Under the Old Covenant God always showed Himself as the Mighty One, who no one could fight against. The scriptures tell us it was His mighty hand, or His mighty deeds that brought victory and freedom to Israel. We also see Isaiah’s prophecy about the Messiah, and one of His names is “Mighty God”. He is our Messiah!
- Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord God, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do anything like Your works and Your mighty deeds?

- Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
He is the same in the New Covenant, He is just as Mighty and powerful!

Our God is and always will be the Mighty One! He lives on the inside of you and me. Jesus said that if the “mighty” works had been done in Sodom that He did in Capernaum, they would have repented. Those had to me such mighty works that they could not be denied coming from God Himself, through Christ.
Will we acknowledge The Mighty and Mighty Works He has done in us through Christ? He says that we would be strengthened with all “might” according to His glorious power. We are commanded, to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His Might.
Whatever is going on in your life today, you have a Mighty God and Savior who lives in you and strengthens you with His might, power, and mighty miraculous works.

Prayer:
