πŸ† The Victory Has Already Been Won!

Good Monday Morning Friends,

I know there are moments in life when the battle feels relentless. Trouble presses in and tries to speak louder than faith, and weariness whispers that defeat is near.  But don’t believe it!

But as believers, we are not fighting for victory β€” we are fighting from victory. Jesus has already conquered every enemy we will ever face, and because He overcame, we can stand strong with confidence, peace, and joy.

β€œBless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases; Who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.” β€” Psalm 103:2-4

The Lord has never left His children empty-handed in battle. He surrounds us with His benefits β€” forgiveness, healing, redemption, mercy, and strength. Even in difficult seasons, heaven has already supplied what we need. The enemy wants us to focus on the pressure, but God calls us to remember His goodness and faithfulness. When we remember what He has done, courage rises again.

Jesus Already Defeated the Enemy

β€œThese things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” β€” John 16:33

Jesus never promised a life without warfare, but He did promise victory in it. Through His death and resurrection, He publicly stripped the enemy of power and authority.

β€œAnd having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” β€” Colossians 2:15

Because of Christ, we do not have to live intimidated by darkness, fear, or oppression. God anointed Jesus with power to heal, deliver, and restore, and that same victorious Spirit lives in us today.

β€œHow God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” β€” Acts 10:38.-  (God Is With Us Too!)

Stand Strong in the Battle

The enemy may try to attack our minds, peace, families, or health, but God has equipped us for every battle we face.

β€œBe strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” β€” Ephesians 6:10

The armor of God is not decorative β€” it is divine protection. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God are spiritual weapons that help us stand firm when opposition comes. God never told us to fight in our own strength. He told us to stand clothed in His.

And what confidence we have knowing that the Lord Himself goes before us!

β€œFor the Lord your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” β€” Deuteronomy 20:4

β€œAnd the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand.” β€” Joshua 10:8

Before the battle even began, God declared the outcome. That same assurance belongs to us today. The victory is not uncertain. God is faithful, powerful, and present with His people.

Walk in Triumph Today

The believer’s life is not marked by constant defeat but by continual triumph in Christ.

β€œBut thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” β€” 1 Corinthians 15:57

β€œNow thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ.” β€” 2 Corinthians 2:14

Notice those words β€” gives us victory and always causes us to triumph. Not sometimes. Not occasionally. Always. That does not mean every circumstance feels easy, but it does mean God has the final word. We can walk forward with peace, confidence, and even joy because our Savior has already secured the win.

Today, lift your head. Put on the armor of God. Remember His benefits. Stand in His strength. The battle may be real, but so is His victory β€” and the Lord has never lost a fight.

Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous and you are His!

  1. Truth. Even as I’m overcome with heaviness, I know this is Truth. Thank God we learned the truth of God’s goodness through His word and through others. I stand in agreement with this and pray that anyone that is feeling overwhelmed will believe the truth of God. It will sustain you. Believe it and rejoice in the Lord. Thank you Colleen ❀️

  2. Thank you so much for this teaching! I love that God has the final word! And we always triumph because we’re fighting from a side of victory. The battle has already been won by Him. I stand on his word that the defeated enemy is under my feet.

  3. Good Motivated Memorial Monday Morning to y’all! Big blessings from Cocoa Florida πŸ’œ πŸ™ 😊 πŸ™Œ
    Thank you for these devotionals!!!
I admit that when I hear “stand in His strength” I could use some “meat on the bones” explanation because honestly I don’t really think I completely understand that. I’m a visual learner so if you ever write about that, visuals would be greatly appreciated! Be blessed y’all πŸ™Œ

  5. Seems when things are unseen it is easier to deal with the carnal thinking people in your life, even if they are Christians and not so easy when around people with illness anxiety who are obsessed with talking ailments as a main point of conversation. If you are dealing with something visible that creates spiritual warfare that is disguised as concern when many times it is just prying or a vehicle to enable people to talk about their own problems.

The way I handle it is to share things on divine healing, they will either choose to study it and get the benefit of it or leave you alone thinking you’re some kind of “religious fanatic”. I consider it a win-win.

I personally need prayer to continually renew my mind and not get into the flesh with these types as I recover from some physical injury personally.
