Good Monday Morning Friends!
When life tries to pull our attention toward fear, uncertainty, or discouragement, the Word calls us back to the unchanging character of our Heavenly Father, remembering who God is! Today, let’s immerse ourselves in the Word of God on His goodness, faithfulness, and His healing for all of us. As we feed on His faithfulness, our hearts are strengthened with confidence that His goodness is not temporary—it is His Divine Nature, and His covenant of healing remains true and permanently complete for His people.
Psalm 37:3 tells us, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” God invites us to trust Him completely and continually feed on His faithfulness. His faithfulness has never failed, and His goodness fills the earth. Psalm 33:5 declares, “He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.” Even when we cannot yet see the answer, we can be confident that His goodness surrounds us.
David understood this truth when he wrote in Psalm 27:13, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” God desires for us to experience His goodness here and now. 2 Thessalonians 1:11 reminds us that God fulfills “the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.” His goodness is active, powerful, and working in every area of our lives.
The Lord’s goodness is not only something we acknowledge—it is something we give thanks for and receive. Psalm 107:8 says, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!” In Jeremiah 31:14, the Lord promises, “My people shall be satisfied with My goodness.” His goodness satisfies every longing heart, and through His covenant of healing, He continues to reveal His wonderful works to His children.
No matter what we face, God remains our refuge. Nahum 1:7 declares, “The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.” Psalm 86:5 reminds us that He is “good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” From the very beginning, God revealed Himself as “merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth” (Exodus 34:6). His goodness, mercy, and healing flow from His unchanging covenant love.
Today, choose to trust in His goodness. Psalm 23:6 promises, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life.” Psalm 34:8 invites us, “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” And Psalm 31:19 proclaims, “Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You.” So once again, let us receive the encouragement of Psalm 37:3: “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” As we keep our eyes on His goodness, we can rest in His faithfulness and confidently embrace His covenant of healing for our lives.
Remember, you are Loved, you are Righteous, and you are His!
